Yeah the 550TI is a pretty good card.

I've been using a Radeon 6850 in the past and I (think) it was better in performance than the 550ti.

How smooth will it run? choppy or what?

cs go

CS Go will run on a potato, the 550TI and the 6850 will be fine for that.

what about gt 640
Usurper Feb 25, 2014 @ 11:16am
I don't think a 640 is as good as a 550TI, but I'm not an expert on Nvidia cards. Someone else will chip in however!

Well how about like radeon

The 6850 card that I have mentioned is comparable to the 550TI.

Is it a less or more of a porformance card.

As far as I'm aware more powerful, but don't quote me on it.

the gt cards are weak
if its an oem pc, upgrade the psu when you get a new gpu

cs:go doesnt need anything strong
if you looking for a lower power cheap card
save up for a 7750 or 750ti
they are under 60w and will not need a psu upgrade

Good advice, unbranded PSU's have a tendancy to well... Overheat and start smoking.
Anything that's Geforce should do the job since I have no problem with my Geforce GTX 650 so far.
