After connecting PC to TV via HDMI it changes resoultion...
and doesn't let me change it from windows settings. It also doesnt work from catalyst control center. Any ideas what I could do? I have tryed to update drivers and it didn't help.

What is it set to extend or duplicate and what are the max res on monitor 1 and tv 2?

Maybe the TV won't run at the resolution that your monitor will? What TV?

Samsung LCD Full HD U series. my monitor is on full hd res too

Ok both are 1920x1080, so what res is it dropping to?

TVs can be very restrictive regarding refresh rates and what they have for post processing. It could be that the TV simply doesn't like a 1920x1080 signal at 60Hz.
