Signal full, speed slow
Hello guys, I do have a serious problem with my wireless connection. As the title says, my signal says it''s "excellent" but my speed won't go bellow 1mbps.

Just some basic informations:
My router: Tehnicolor TC 2700
My adapter: D-Link GO USB 150N rev. B
Channel: 6 since no neighbour is using it
Bandwith: 40
Wireless Mode: 802.11 b/g/n

For anyone asking to buy an Ethernet cable, no chance.

It's not the problem with the download. It's the problem with the entire connection, I can't any game without getting disconnected from Steam or even from the internet acces itself.

The first thing to do is connect with an Ethernet cable to the router. If that improves your experience, then you know it has to do with the wireless settings. If it doesn't improve, then try bypassing the router and connecting with an Ethernet cable directly to the modem. If that doesn't improve your experience, call the ISP.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say this: I don't have the time to buy an Ethernet cable. Then, I can't buy one because there is a room between the room with the router and my room.

Then carry the computer to the room with the router and use the cable that is there.

Have you tried to change channel? Use WiFi scanner utility like InSSIDer to find appropriate.
Did that.

Probably because technicolor TC2700 router doesn't exist? :-)
Try to put Wi-Fi on channel 9 or 11. From 1 to 8 are channel disturbed from other elettrical device..like wireless telephon and radio switch for electrical door. Also domotics use those channel. If someone near you are using some chinese sh_it...probably the rest of electronic disposal in area doesn't work. Try also to put your PC near your router without walls trought...
If never of these are workin connect pc and router with a cable Rj45 and retest.
Good luck
