Can i run TF2?
Hi, i would like to play on my mom's PC cause my gaming pc died months ago. But she is afraid that installing tf2 will break her computer. She got an acer aspire v5 with a Pentium 987 and 8gb of RAM. Is it enough to play it 20-30 fps in very low resolution? Thanks in advance!

My suggestion is to stay away from your Mom's pc. What happened to your gaming pc? Is it worth fixing? List the parts in it and maybe we can revive it. Maybe you can leverage the fact your Mom doesn't want you on her pc to get her to spend some on fixing the old one.

No its a laptop, i had a Pavilion Dv6 (i know its not that good but it lasted 5 years into intense gaming). I went to see an expert (microbytes) and he said that my pc is really dead.

You should be good, back when I used a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Toshiba, I could run TF2 at 60 FPS at medium settings.

Even a budget build pc would outperform most laptops. But don't buy pre-made. Make your own pc. Plus when you're done you'll have pc skills.

And if you're getting bad frames, you can just use one of Chris' configs for max frames.
