gpu suggestions....

i have a intel quad q9550, corsair memory, evga 780i 775 board,700 w psu and an evga gtx 260....got a 7f code with no screen....prob burnt up my gpu.....
i know my rig's a lil old but i like it.....heavy gamer....and has run everything i,ve installed...
was thinkin o up gradin gpu a little.
any suggestions for a new one ??
one thats around the same power or better, prefer evga,mine has 896 mb, 216 core.... move up to 1-2 g??....i'm on a heavy budget so the closest i can get to my old gpu for as close to 100.us. the better

The GTX 650 is probably your best bet ATM, unless you want to wait for the 750/750 ti to drop in price. Even then the 650 is only a small preformance drop from the 750

i know that 100 us doesnt give you alot of choices but have you thought about ebay for a second hand amd 7870 or a 7950 or nvidia side a 660ti or a 670?

i know in the uk you can get a 7950 for about £100 i know this is is higher then you was looking but atleast it would last you a while

Second hand amd could be bad if it was used in a mining rig.

$100 usd your looking at used cards......Radeon 6850,6870,6950,6970,.........Nvidia side if you get lucky you can find a used Gtx 570,580 like mine but I paid $145 for a refurbished one at Micro center but it still plays all of my games at 60 fps with the Exception of Metro series running in the 30s-But I can live with that until iam able to upgrade ( hopefully soon) a Gtx 580 performance is around 750 ti .Which sucks but hey what can ya do?

$100 u'r lucky to find GTX 660 on Ebay for that.
Want a decent enough GPU for gaming, do like the rest of us, pay for it.
Can't afford it, get a job and save up.
Otherwise go play on a console.
