Gaming notebooks
I have been looking at MSI gaming notebooks and will soon be purchasing, I need something portable so I can take it to college and back but powerful to play the latest games. I want the GS70 Stealth Pro, it has a GTX 870M 3GB, Intel Core i7 4700HQ, 16GB DDR3, 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD so its very very high spec and should run every game easily and is only 2.6KG!!

Does anyone play on a gaming notebook? want to know what people think!

I have a Gigabyte P34G (v1). i7 4700HQ, GTX760M, 8GB DDR3 (put in my own SSD and better HDD). It's alright for gaming, I can play stuff such as BF4 at 60fps (albeit ~900p and reduced settings), runs most of my other games good enough.

Your 870M is like two tiers above my 760M, so you should have noticeably better performance than I do.
just looked it up on notebookcheck. Yeah your 870M won't have any issues with games at 1080p.

I have the MSI GT70 Dominator and I am loving it so far. The only problem I have is that it gets a little hot sometimes, but it has a Turbo fan button that cools it right down.

Thanks - heat is a given as its a notebook, I have seen the turbo button that seems great!
The GT70 is really amazing!

Yeah, I got mine upgraded to 16gb by a third party, so it was cheaper than normal and nearly matches the GS70, except for the SSD. By the way, what is KG? I haven't heard of that currency before.
