These kinds of topics are probably best handled in the hardware and OS forum, linked below...

well, the 960 isnt much stronger...
but its really not worth its money. also you have to buy a new psu.

Buy RX470 or 480 and a BeQuiet Straight Power 10 500W and you are good to go.

Yea that would be a side-grade, not an upgrade. 270/270X and 960 are nearly the same performance bracket.

I'd look at RX 480 or GTX 1060

I presume you already swapped out the PSU if you are running R9 270X since original PSU of this bundle could not run squat.
Go for RX 480 instead, if you can run R9 270X then you can run this.
Your AMD APU will bottleneck it somewhat but not really that seriously.

That is not a real upgrade.

However, your PC cannot handle much more of an upgrade.

I recommend you sell that one and build a new PC.

original PC comes with exactly that card?
sure, this gpu only needs 20-50W...

His original bundle had integrated graphics with 180W PSU, you would know that if you would actually cheked out his link.

Yeah I forgot to add in that I have a 650W PSU in there and since you guys are saying the 480 what's the pins on it to put the PSU pins in, my PSU only has 2 6-pins but they can turn into 4-pins

k sorry i misread..

which PSU do you have right now?
_I_ Jul 29, 2016 @ 7:33am
rx 480 would be a waste in the apu build
the r9 270x is about the limit of what the apus cpu can push

what brand/model psu did you put in it?

if you want a $200+ upgrade
swap the cpu/mobo/ram to an i3 board and ram

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZfLbsY
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($110.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($65.38 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($34.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $211.35

then think about adding the rx 480
