Hope to play all games 1080p @ 144 Hz
Hello
Basic Present spec is:
i7-3770k @ 4.4 Ghz 16 GB ddr3 memory
MSI GTX 970 graphics ( with good overclock)
Gigabyte gtx 670 for flex/physx

1080p 144 hz gsync monitor. I am happy with the resolution & refresh rate. I defintely prefer high refresh

Same games can be held back by the CPU but my one is apparently powerful enough.

I am thinking of another GPU if worth it.
The gtx 970 will be for cuda/physx/flex. The gtx 670 is not powerful in some situations.
I did think of another gtx 970 in sli but it will be too problematic.

The new one for graphics only and will be need to be an nvidia card.

Is the a GPU available allowing me to play the latest and most demanding games all close to or at 144 Hz on 1080p monitor?
Are there any useful benckmarks around.

Thanks

You will need a 1070/1080 to keep up with that standard.

670 and the 970 will not do. You better take a look at the 1060 or 1070 if you really want to utilize the 144Hz refresh rate of your monitor.

Any benchmarks?
I know the gtx 970 is not enough for that. I do not want to waste money on a card if not powerful enough. If not wait for the nvidia volta cards. I am not interested in an SLI setup.

I would recommend a GTX1070. It takes a lot of power to fully utilise a 144hz display, but the 1070 should be able to handle it at 1080p.

i7-3770K is fine, get yourself GTX 1070 and it can run 144 Hz 1080p no problem.
Also the GTX 1070 doesnt need any additional physX card.

I agree. Forget sli. Just get a 1070 or even a 1080. And don't use a dedicated physx card. It's pointless

Here's the 1070's game benchmarks. In most games it won't reach all the way up to 144fps. It's really around 100fps: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1070-Desktop.165776.0.html

If you're looking for a full 144fps for every game, the 1080 will come closer: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Nvidia-GeForce-GTX-1080-Desktop-Review-Pascal-has-arrived.165500.0.html
With an overclock it should be even better
