Better To Have AMD and Nvidia?
So I'm new to PC gaming (I just built my first PC) and I'm currently using a Nvidia GTX 1070 FTW. So My question is would it be good to get a Second Graphics Card and have it a AMD (don't really know what kinds they have and what the best would be) or get another GTX 1070/1080 or stick with the one I currently have and not get another graphics card.

You can't mix AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Chances are you will be fine with one GTX 1070.

No, if you're going to get another graphics card then make sure it's the same as the first one.

But in general i think Nvidia is better.

Thanks! As I've said before I'm new to all this so thanks for helping me out!
NVIDIA's the better option if you like high end performance. AMD is pretty good with budget cards

amd no longer has top end gpus

rx 480 and r9 390 are similar performance and cant beat out gtx 1060 in games

they are good for 1080p gaming, but for 1440p or higher refresh rates you need a stronger gpu

You dont need another gpu unless you are running 4k. Save your money.
