What monitor should I get for rig
Specs:
1080ti
i7 8700k
16gb RAM DDR4
240gb ssd
144hz 1080p monitor

I play games like csgo, pubg, rainbow 6, and at time gtaV and fallout. I prefer preformance over quality so idk if I should get a computer with a high quality or if I should get a 240hz. I want a better monitor to get the full/more potential out of my computer. Link me some good deals and advice to why I should go with what please.

If you arent happy with your current monitor

the only choices are really 1440p or 4K
But even with that system you'll lose performance on 4K, so 1440p or there abouts may be the best option.

240hz 1080p you think would be a bad purchase?

If you already have a 144HZ 1080p monitor, I wouldn't buy one another 1080p with a higher refresh rate. Like CJ said, I would get a higher resolution monitor with that GTX 1080ti.

With your hardware - 27" 1440p 144hz or higher with g-sync.
That's a sweetspot.
Since u play mainly games like csgo, no point in 4k..

Link me monitors and why I should get them
Specs:
1080ti
I7 8700k
16gb ddr4
240gb ssd
144hz 1080p monitor

Games I play: csgo, pubg, r6, plan on playing gta and fallout.

Link me monitors I should get and new games I should play
You'd be much better off going for 1440p monitors or even 2160p (4K UHD) monitors that look native at 1440p and 1080p IMHO.

With a GTX 1080 Ti gaming at less than 1440p (16:9) - 1600p (16:10) is selling yourself short.

1440p, 165hz, g-sync and ips if u care about panels.

^This. There is advantage having higher refresh rate monitors in FPS games. Also it makes everything more smoother gameplay.

Well I have a 4K monitor and it’s spectacular.
Also you can still use it in 1440p but you need to be using a DisplayPort cable to get the most out of it
