FreeLancer for Steam?

In the light of Star Citizen, I'd like to see Chris Roberts' previous game, Freelancer (2003) available on Steam.

Would anyone agree?

I liked that game. With the genre didn't die off like it did.

You would need to as Micosoft though. Only they can decide to add it.

Sounds more like GOG territory to me, but it would be nice.

You might want to look into Egosoft's X3: Terran Conflict if you like those sorts of games. That's definitely on Steam.

This is funny because only just this morning I had a search for this particular title! Yes, I would love to see it on Steam. :)

Well, X3 isn't exactly the same as Freelancer, but I already have all of the X3 games.

As for Freelancer, I've had the retail edition since 2004, so it's not for my sake, but rather the opportunity for others to enjoy this classic! :)
