I'd like to here if there is anyone from Valve who can say something about different curriencies on steam market and how russians undercut users from Europe.
I've seen few topics in Steam Community Market group but noone from Valve said single word about this. And this is issue because russians can easily undercut any other currencies and got this advantage so they are dominating steam market with their offers. If someone doesn't know what I'm talking about here are two screens which show how russians can push euro users down with their items on market.
Here are prices in market when I'm logged out. As you can see russians got prices in their currency.
Here are prices after logging in. All showed in euro as I'm from Europe.
Point is russians can see prices in their currency which allows them to undercat any other offers just a bit but for users from EU/USA it's still visible in the same price.
This makes it unfair and almost impossible to sell something because there are always comming offers from russians and they push EU/US down and sell their items almost immediately while others have wait, but sometimes it doesn't mean they would sell something.
So is Valve going to do something with that ?
