Bug in 'Holiday Sale 2013' Badge in Badge View
I recently noticed my 'Holiday Sale 2013' badge has a green Play Game next to it. Clicking it just takes you to the front store page, but just wanted to bring it to a mod's attention.

Interestingly enough, I don't see the green Play Game button on yours, or mine.
Here's a screenshot if you don't believe me. https://flic.kr/p/oSCGRC

And just like to point out, its for Valve not the mods, the mod here are users not Valve employs

It wasn't of doubt, but to show it doesn't do it to me.

I have this too, but I like to pretend that this is the clue that "Steam Sale Stimulator" is in development.

Is that a game you buy bullets and need to only hit the good deals?

Nooo, it's like Steam, but with microtransactions and DX12 support. Real-time, non-stop adrenaline-pumping hunt for the best stuffs in Skyrim Steam shop.

It's due to how they showed the sale page for that sale.

Rather than changing the "index.html" file for the store (or whatever they use as the page name), they decided to divert the store page to an 'app' page and the store for the sale was hosted there.

Because it's showing as an app page, Steam thinks its a game and will show the "Play Game" icon for the badges.

It's working as intended. The only "fix" to do would be to add an exception to the code that adds the buttons to say something like "if button_name = "wintersale" then visible = false" or however they code their buttons.
