failed to share the mod file! steam error 2

ben having this error for 4 days now, unable to update or upload any skyrim mod at this moment
can't find any solution for this error, thanks in advance!

I'm currently having this issue. I re-installed Skyrim into the default directory, but that did not change anything.

I am having the very same issue on Space Engineers.

I cannot publish an update for my mod, I keep getting this error and it's REALLY pissing me off!

Are any of you using a shared library through steam family sharing? Sorry if this thread is a bit old.

no, i'm not using a shared library, also try uploading repeatedly or at a different time or day, sometimes it uploads and sometimes it doesn't, well that's what i usually do myself.
