Booster Pack questions that need answering

1.)How does Steam decide who receives the booster pack? Just randomly selects from the Eligible users with higher level users getting a higher % chance of being selected?

2.)How many booster packs go out for each badge created? Is it determined by the number of cards said badge needs to be crafted? Ex a game with 9 cards could send out 3 booster sets of 3 cards, where as a game like ftl could only send out a 2 booster sets of 3.

3.)Is the booster pack that goes out the same as the badge that gets created?

4.) what are the odds of getting a booster pack? Do those odds count for each game you are eligible for?

5.)Do you need to be in game to be eligible to get a booster pack?

6.)do boosters go out the second a badge is created, or is there a mass distribution of boosters at one specific time during the day?

1) Correct. The base chances are currently not known.
2) I believe it's one booster pack per person. You don't need to have crafted a badge to qualify.
3) It's a random pack from a game you own and have collected all your drops from.

5) No, just need to have logged into Steam at least once in a week.
6) I believe they're sent out every Tuesday.

3 Right, but say i craft the FTL badge, does that mean somewhere someone received an FTL booster pack?
