Updating Steam... Extracting Package... STEAM STUCK BY THIS PROCESS.
Its been a week for having this situation and i'm looking for any solution but then I can't see any solution for this :( please help me.

Delete your steam client, then reinstall Steam, add me if this doesn't work.

Struck with the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling steam completely did not fix the issue. Help would be appreciated.

Just Dont delete the Steamapps folder...If you delete this you will download the games you installed again.

My pc is Windows 7 so i tried to update my pc after update i restart my pc, then I tried to update steam again and wait for few min. Then it works :)

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TO UPDATE YOUR PC search it on google on how to update you pc.
