Why the hell can't I upload a picture correctly even if I resize?

So I resized the creation of valve Characters and it messed it up so much it resized it even more down to this little tiny square making the picture look crappy kinda pissed off I made like 5 different resized pictures and none of them worked right some of them it said BAH BAH BAH I want pictures that are at least 100X100 Pixels and I'm like ah com'on I GAVE YOU WHAT YOU WANTED a tiny smaller picture and now you want it bigger?!?!?!?!?!?

Your large steam icon will be exactly 184px square. I recommend you create such a picture and upload that so it won't have to upscale or stretch to fit in 184px.
Any good picture editor will let you know the exact size of the pic you're working on.
If you upload a tiny pic there just isn't enough information to make it look decent at a larger size unless maybe its a line drawing.
