Anybody elses steam not starting???

I've been trying to access Steam from the client so I can access my library and play games. All it does is say, "You need an internet connection to connect to Steam", and I clearly do. I'm having to type this on the website. :/

Working on Win 8 in Washington DC. That probably doesn't mean much though.

There were a bunch of people reporting the same problem a few days ago. You might check Help and Tips for their threads. You might find a solutoin there.
