Selecting Drive for game installation

I recently purchased Alan Wake DVD which installs under Steam. I was suprised that the installation allowed me to select any drive. Usually I 'm forced to install games to the drive that I have installed the Steam program (which is running out of space). Will all games that I buy direct via steam now give me the option to choose any drive?

Only games with new content system supports different install Drive.
