It should be unlimited.

From the FAQ:

"During the sale there is no limit to the number of times you can upgrade these badges."

How is it even possible to go that high. How many levels does it give?

Too bad though the trading cards have an expiration date.

That does seem a bit over the top, but to each their own I suppose. I'm just having a hard time making the badges in the first place! Good luck to all ye badge collectors :)

It's not sad for someone to get a kick out of this. Leveling my profile to 30 by crafting badges (a lot of them) was fun and I don't find that to be 'sad.' I've gotten bored of it but I might start again I don't know.

If the money isn't being spent on something that harms others who cares.

Level 30 as in my Steam profile not the badge level. Profile levels are gained by crafting badges so it is relevant. My point is I too have spent quite a bit of money on badges.

Of course there are people who spend money on things they can't afford but I'm not going to criticize them. I used to do the very same thing.

Anyway, I had fun buying cards to level up and make my profile look nice. I certainly don't regret it.

And thanks mate, I hope you had a good Christmas =)

Your globe level is only 2.

I meant my profile level since it's related to the badges and takes a bit of money to level up that far. Edited my post to better reflect that, sorry.

You could buy those badges for 0.15$ before the event started, at day it did start the cards was sold for 0.53€ each but after 2-3 days it went down to 0.11$-0.15$ each. There was also around 5000 card sold each day.

So yeah some have the money to buy that much.
