Corrupted files

I got BorderLand 2 and Saints Row 4, and i was told that the files were corrupted so i need help finding out what is wrong, Please Help

check file

from your library in steam
right click on borderlands 2 -> properties -> local files tab -> verify game cache
wait 10-15 min to check all of the files and it will download/patch missing/corrupt files

do the same thing with sr4

I've done that for both already, still doesn't work

start -> computer
right click on your hdd -> properties -> tools tab -> error checking -> check now
tick both boxes and check for problems
reboot if necessary
