Steam won't start on Linux Ubuntu

When I try to open my Steam, it verifies my steam account but when it tries to open it closes. I ran it from terminal and this was the last line that came up, CrashID=bp-1d77aefb-c83e-432f-883e-b5df92140702. I would like some help in solving this, Thanks!
