Unable to reach steam contentservers

When i'm trying to download a game it give's me the following error:
unable to reach steamcontent servers

I allready reintalled steam
i also have the correct download regio

so what im i doing wrong?

the distance is mostly irrelevant, if you have a connection with a higher bandwidth.
