WHY WONT MY GAMES WORK

when I click on a game it sais running but nothing happens. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling them and that doesent work. please help

Is the operating system 32 or 64 bit ?

i have the same issue :(
some of my games like (Rocket League) , (Terraria) and( TowerFall Ascension) are not working it says the game is running for few seconds than nothing happen it start to happen today when i updated my steam
i tried to reinstall some games and reinstall my steam but nothing work plz if someone know how to fix the issue help

Same with me, I can't play any of my games actually. I've restarted my computer and shut it down and nothing's happened.

There is a huge amount of info on that support page, as well as all pages and info linked in blue. Are you sure you have read all of that and made sure it is covered fully ?

Describe EXACTLY, in detail, what happens when you click "play" on a game in your Steam library that does not "work" ?

In detail, please, including any error messages in exact wording if you see them.
