Valve Playtester Survey
We're looking for folks to come to Valve and playtest both released and unreleased versions of our games as well as play around with some of our hardware prototypes. If you have interest in stopping by (most sessions last around an hour), please fill out the survey below. We're looking for people local to the Seattle/Bellevue area, but you're welcome to fill out the survey no matter where you live as we may have plans for remote playtests in the future.

Thanks for your interest in helping us make better products!

You mention those interested in becoming a potential Remote Playtester in the future to fill this in, but the only location text field is "Zip Code". Does this mean Remote playtesting will be limited to those in America only or can anyone across the world fill this in and just put whatever their version of the Zipcode would be instead?

Does that apply to international people? It sounds pretty fun and interesting, but I live in Australia and there's just no way I can make it to Seattle in the foreseeable future.

We are looking to add international support in the future. For now though, playtesting will be US only.

Noted. I trust that if and when you guys start doing international playtesting, you'll let us know (by posting another thread, or email perhaps)?

Additionally, when you say "remote" playtesting, do you mean doing other organized playtests in remote locations (that testers need to travel to) or allowing playtesters to test where they are and send feedback digitally (which I imagine would only work for software)? Or is that a "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it" sort of thing?

In any case, colour me excited.

No less people that notice means a higher chance of being selected :)

The stickies would be read more if they were just bouncing around the forum like every other thread :P

To be honest, I usually don't, because stickied threads have no extra highlight than normal threads, aside from the "pin" on the left. It blends in with the rest of the topics, instead of sticking out.

Same, but maybe it takes a little while.

Also, why isn't Ricochet listed under the Valve games that we've played?

Same here. I'm wondering if the emails are getting sent out. I signed up last night, then requested another email in the morning.
