I have played Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex, and other role playing games with an open environment. What are some ones like these worth investing in?

You can get it cheaper somewhere else, but it is a good game to get and matches what you want.

That isn't realy an open enviroment. Untill a point, you are just of wheels. Not much to do or places to go when you get the freedom to explore.

I agree with the other two though.

You can usually get kingdoms of amular including dlcs for about $15-17 usd on sale. It never goes on sale on steam.

I would get rpg games on sale since they can be bad.
gothic 3 with community patch - unpatched its bugged
two worlds 2 - kind of bland but it might grow on you
risen was bad
divinity 2
witcher 1/2 - open world areas but like levels, combat in witcher 1 is boring combat in witcher 2 is wacked in the first outside area you get 1 shotted quite a bit
dragon age origins - group based combat, not really open world but you can move on the map from instance to instance - #1 is a good game but #2 not so much
mass effect 1

some space games that are open world
x3 terran conflict
galaxy on fire 2
