Steam Hardware Survey

So how does this work? I keep getting prompted for it on my crappy laptop that has a 6400+ APU with an onboard R3 GPU and if I close down Steam and open it again it keeps asking me for the survey.

However, whenever I log into my gaming PC (i7 4790k, 295X2, 16GB RAM, etc) I never get asked to take the survey. So Steam will give it the whole "you PC gamers dont even play 1080p" and this is why. I game at 1440p with 2 monitors and want my hardware survey to reflect that!

Can you force the survey. I went to Help > System Information but itr doesn't seem to send the info.

They ask at random, you can't prompt it.

Yeah. I hate the fact that the two crap PC's that I hardly ever use always ask me and the monster gaming rig never gets the prompt!
