It's the best because it's well-organized, functional, minimally intrusive and has an actual community.

Just because of the sales, even if I dont buy something. Would still like RDM-Free gaming tho.

Whoever has it at the cheapest price is better. Steam is a decent program but the customer service is crap, the refund policy is dubious at best, and with the influx of Early Access games the catalogue has become very watered down.

I think there is something convenient about having all of your games in one place. It is a pain to have a few on steam, a few on gog, a few on origin, etc, etc, etc. Steam has the largest overall library, generally among the best prices and as a result it becomes the most convenient place to host your library.

A highly accessible venue to centralize my PC gaming collection regardless of platform. Something that digital music and digital movie providers still can't seem to grasp as they still try to lock you into an ecosystem.

Steam is best because it has great sales, is not very intrusive, and isn't run by EA.

Cons are the terrible refund policy, customer service is horrendous, and family sharing being crap.
