Overall, I love this game. I have been playing since March 2012, with more than 2k hours, but I did not start off on Steam, so you can't see that.
The graphics are amazing, that's all I really have to say. They are very smooth and refined, unless you have low graphics or graphics glitches, which I don't. Both on the knights and on the monsters, there is detail, but not so much to make them realistic, which I think would ruin the game.
It's an MMO, be prepared to grind. I have completed the game (mostly) so I don't have to worry about grinding, but there is a massive grindwall. For the most part, I got over this grindwall F2P, which is possible, but it is hard. If you want to get over this grindwall, I suggest grinding with friends. If you don't have any friends, go make some! This game has an awesome community! As long as you're not a beggar...
I will be rather blunt here. Some of the weaponry is extremely unrealistic, and some of it is waaay too OP. The Dark Retribution (the DLC bomb) is rediculously powerful. It can cause massive damage in a matter of seconds, redering everything else obsolete, depending on what you are fighting.
The rapiers in the game (flourishes and Snarby swords) are the only swords of their damage type, leaving you no other options, unfortunately. Personally, I love them, but if you don't, you're out of luck.
The guns in the game are fairly well balanced, but, as with everything, some are better than others. Recently, the Magnus/Tundrus line has become OP, but before they used to be useless. Pulsar lines are not as powerful as before, but they are still a good choice of weaponry. The Antigua lines are situational: you don't want to use them against just anything.
Lastly, some of the weaponry is just terrible for everything, even though they look powerful.
P2W. P2W. P2W. PvP is based on unique variants that you have to spend a lot of money to get. You also have to have the right armor, some of which is hard to acquire. The weapons are NOT balanced. Rocket Hammers, rapiers, Pulsars, Sealed Sword lines, and Brandishes are all OP, but some other things that are great on monsters, such as the Blitz Needle, are terrible.
The community is very small, which is an advantage. A lot of the players are older, mature people. If anyone acts like a ♥♥♥♥, EVERYONE soon knows it, and they can be shunned. The P2W Lockdown players (PvP) can be those ♥♥♥♥♥, but, knowing some of them myself, not all of them are that bad. One problem with the general community is the noobs that don't know how to grind. They sit there begging for money in Haven (the safe zone). Personally, I hate it.
Guilds are an amazing part of the game, which boost the community. Guilds are groups of players, and your guild is sort of like an entension of your friends list. You can go guild versus guild Lockdown, which can be very enjoyable, unless you are a small guild person like me. Unfortunately, the guilds with the richer players have more member. Wealth attracts people.
Although I have found many faults in this game, it is my favorite game. This game has ruined my life. If you are a player of MMOs, you would enjoy this game greatly. I think I'll give this game a 9.5/10.
