Bulletstorm could be a welcome change to the popular military shooter with his black humor and wacky scenario.
The story of Bulletstorm is replete with clichés, light B-movie charm and tons of cool spells.
In the battles and weapons, each core shooter, Bulletstorm itself is hardly a nakedness. We are limited to attacks not only on shooting iron, but also draw back to an energy whip and our boots.
While we use the whip to attract enemies to us or later fling with a power punch in the air, we are using our heavy shoes at the latest grateful if we throw back attackers with an aimed kick. This can also combine wonderful way: use, step away, use, dismiss, and so on. Our weapons are different at first glance little from those of other first-person shooter.
The highlight of all weapons are charged shots. We use, for example, a "charged shot" with our revolvers, we shoot an incendiary device, the inflamed our target and all nearby Enemies.
The level design is successful, whether we shoot us through a hostile desert, through city ruins or an old amusement park including miniature city. However, you can tell the Unreal Engine 3 on at Bulletstorm that it comes slowly in the years. Sometimes we discover muddy textures or are disappointed with some pretty thin explosion effects. Bulletstorm is not a graphic gem, but can playfully impress with fast-paced action and its exaggerated representation yet.
Bulletstorm is a fun, airy, and childish rage. If you play games for the fun of it all, this shooter, so that you have some nice weapons and mechanics, and reward you for your oven light technology. Unspectacular online game, a wealth of shooter cliches and forced vulgarity keep them from participating in the elite shooters. But the creativity of the skill system, combined with the captivating character moves the Echoes leaderboards are Bulletstorm some muscle and a dedicated following of talented players to show eager to inspire their incredible mastery of the mechanics pleasing.
