What is this, since few days the game crashes on trying to start custom? WiTF is wrong here?

Changed computer, but after any game is closing short time after start. support page is 404, how can I write them and solve my problem?

Any mods or settings that make war and capturing cities less punishing? As of now, there is no good reason to put production into war except for a domination victory. There are too many drawbacks and almost no benefits.

I understand Civ5 is an old game, with 'old style' programming in it. I own Civ6 and BE, but I prefer playing Civ5 for it's: 'tactical simplicity" I would love to see a 'patch' (???) that would make Civ5, more: multi core CPU capable (with multi core processing)... or something (???) to make turns - faster - on the larger maps... or Does Sid Meier prefer - just to concentrate on the later Civ6 ???...
