You don't need both, my issue with it not starting was I had a corrupt file so had to verify, however, run IE and update Flash if a verify doesn't help. For some reason the game uses the IE flash version, so updating the one for FF/Chrome/Safari/Whatever won't work.

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ValveTestApp99410\distro and click garshasp to play it, it will work thorugh steam from now on

i try that before with run as admin but wont work,but thx for the info. send crash log to the developer if its still crash.
