everything works fine for everybody else, the problem is very likely on your end. try to restart your PC and if that doesn't help, cut the power to your router and modem for 10 minutes, that should do

I had this problem recently turns out it was Displayfusion conflicting with the game somehow I un-installed the software and everything was fine. So look for any recently installed software and try removing it, hope this helps.

What's the Min Bandwidth to play online
( mine's only 256Kb\sec & that's not enough, good guess ? )

I have had this problem as well. I used to play STO a few months back and it was fine. I recently tried to reinstall but get the autoupdater launch failure every time. If you search the net, this is a widespread problem. Not just on steam but by downloading from their own site. Many people can't even access the startrek online . com website (including me(. There are volumes of threads on various forums relating to this issue. The official answer from PWE is the typical reboot pc etc... Most players who can not access feel as if PWE does not want to figure out an official solution. There are some workarounds (many are really complex) available on the net. Some work for some people while others work for other people. But there is no common fix. If somebody finds an official fix, feel to let me know.

Same problem simply doesnt want to start up.. Ping and it likes the server isnt there... Could it be because the client steam downloads for you is now so old?

Wow your correct Chu.. I cant even get on there own web site.. So I passed it on to my provider to look at who tell me its a blocked site and "high risk!!!!"..

I pointed out to them this is a popular MMPORG with rather a few peeps using it so there must be some mistake and they say the company needs to contact them.. Which is a bit catch 22 to be kind..

No it's not a high risk. Don't worry about that. Actually what it has to do with (regarding connecting to their site) is certain ips are added to a list. It's basically a list of spammers that certain websites block out. You probably never spammed but ips change hands often and someone in the past may have spammed with your current ip. At least thats a tech answer that I got quite often from others. Like I said, there are workarounds but take up so much time to do its not worth it. I haven't retried since October eighth but I have hear from others that sometimes it will fix itself in a few days? Not sure, I just gave up. If a big company can't even get their stuff right so that everybody can play, then I don't want any part. Although, I do hope they get this fixed.
