Why is there no Klingon-Expansion
Hello friends and Trekkiefriends, I am new here. I have just begun to play STO with two Expansions, the starterpackage and the Romulan package, unfortunately I am a little bit too short for the Legacypack.

But the first question uprised rather early, playing the game with three Chars, one being a Klingon Warrior: Why isn't there a Klingon package? I'only wondering, if I am the only one with this question, or if there are also others asking for a Klingon-Package?

What Klingon content that exists now, WAS the Klingon Expansion. In the begining there was only Starfleet as a playable choice.

There won't be much additions because not enough people play them to validate the efforts. This has always been the reason. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the shortage of KDF content either, but its a fact.

A rather illogical fact, considering if you fix up the KDF and make them as good as the federation, the amount of people who play them will rise because they no longer have a terrible lack of content. It doesn't make any sense if you think about it for more than 10 seconds. Sure it will not seem worth it at first, but the reason people don't play KDF is mainly because they have a lack of content. If you give them more content, more people will play KDF because the lack of content will go down, therefor this isn't a waste of time and effort.

Thats an assumption. That could very well happen, but apparently Cryptic (or PWE) are not willing to take the risk of that failing.

Hey, thank you guys, thanks for the hint, that at the very beginning, the Klingon-content was only an additon, generally I have to confess, STO is not my mainfocus in gaming, but it's far better than expected. The spacefights remind me somehow to EVE, but with more charbased action and less economical aspects. But considering it with for example NWO there is a little lack in the worldbuilding, which one - imho - notices. I hope, when it comes to the foundry-missions, that there will be a little more diversity. At least in NWO the foundry-quests are rather cool.

Klinks got like three new questlines when Legacy came out, and they're available at level 1 instead of, what was it, 20? What the KDF has now is a helluva lot more than they did a year ago.
