Ship token bug?

I'll keep it simple as it may not be a bug. Im a subscriber and made a klingon engineer, got him to rank ten, (LT Commander) and didnt get a mission to get a new ship.
Im just wondering if there is a particular mission i have to get too first or are others having this issue?

there are awards listed in your u menu and what levels you get them. at top level you don't get a new ship

If you did some side quests, it can get delayed.

You should have picked up a tutorial called promotion, once you've completed it by talking to admiral quinn at the earth spacedock it grants you a token to buy a new ship.

Problem solved, seems you have to get to the mission "Testing the Mettle" before you get the ship tokens.
