I am unable to save the customizations on my ships does anyone know how i do this?

Im new to the game but I think there is a save option at the bottom of the screen. Then you should be able to load them and then press the purchace button to equip those changes on your ship... I think could be wrong though.

I have tried puchesing and saving and all of that but it wont save anything i do >:(

what specifically do you mean in regard to interface section or ship appearance, or ship internals? What isnt saving and where are you when you are trying to save it.

It does not work. Seems like it is implemented for the character uniforms only. The load and save buttons doing nothing for the ship design.

Saving merely stores the layout you have designed. You use it if you are experimenting with your designs and want to hold on to one of them. You need to "purchase" the final design and you MUST have the necessary EC or Zen to pay for it. You get one free redesign but this does not include bridge style or size (1000EC each for the basic types). Not all ships can be redesigned (one off ships like the Ambassador class for example) though you can always apply paint patterns.

This feature works just fine (or it did a day ago when I redesigned my advanced escort).

it says it is free lol and then it just doesn't let me purches the layout... ive succesfully customized my ship before but only once (it was the starter ship) and it wont let me do anymore custimizing it seems... I press save and then purchess and it just dropps the menu and i beam up to the ship and i find that the layout has not been changed fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

You may want to contact support then as it sounds like a bug. If you have access to another character then try it out on them as some of these UI bugs only apply to individual characters. Hopefully you manage to get it sorted out.

If you mean the interior ship bridge customizations, yes they all equally suck unless you pay for one of the cooler ones. The general rule of thumb is always pick a small interrior size for convience, and whatever bridge is rigth for the size of your ship. Galaxy classic works for most things.
