I would wait until the Legacy of Romulas expansion actually hits. And since you have just started, I would get to level 50 first. That is when the all the fun begins. $134 is a lot of money to ask for. I would make sure you like the game first.,the game is Free to Play and most of the game content is available.

Okay sounds good,I seem to not be able to login into my account anyways. :(

The packs aren't needed, they are just a bundle of c-store items for a lower price. So if you really want to have all of the items then go for it. If not then you can pick up what you do want later for Zen.

The servers are up, did you forget your password?

If you plan on buying them all anyways, then you'll save money.

However, seeing as you're new, I'd advise just waiting or consider the $20 bundle if you're really interested. The Legacy Pack is moreso for people who are invested in the game already and know they're going to get it all anyway.

Thanks for all the great replies.
I managed to log-in to my account and I already have the starter bundle,I always subscribe to all my mmo's (I like the perks) I just rotate from time to time and really want to give this game a shot.
So I will wait to see the reaction from the "community" before I throw some cash at the expansion, thanks.

The Expansion itself is completely free.

The packs are just collections of things that will be available in the stores at a cheaper price than buying them all individually.

I would say no for the moment...at least until you've played for a month or two and got a feel for the game. The Legacy pack is definitely one for the serious Rommie addicts (it's a bulk buy of various store items). The subscription has a few handy perks but if you're just mucking about for 30 minutes a month it's not worth the cash either.

If you enjoy the game, the pre order packages are a no brainer. As for the subscription, wait until you've played it for a few months at least.

I like the game I have been playing.
I'm subbed and looking for a fleet it is getting lonely out there, lol.

Expansion is completely free like others have said. It's the ships that are not. You will save a TON of money if you only buy the two or three endgame ships they have currently.

There is no need to subscribe. You get access to the entire game and the subscription perks are pretty weak.

Yeah I noticed that,so now I am removing my C.C.

There are a few perks if you subcribe, such as skill retraining tokens given freely at certain levels ( normally 500 zen) as well as a monthly 500 zen stipend (5 dollars). I have seen the 60 day time cards selling on amazon for 15 bucks, so you will break even if you feel that you will ever respec your character.

I am finding the space battles to be long and tedious at times unless there are side thrusters I don't know about to improve on maneuvering.
And the crafting seems to be lacking, but I am having fun other than that.
The R&D aspect seems interesting once I figure it out.
