Cannot Register for PW
I apologize if this is old news, but I want to know if anyone else has run into this problem.

I downloaded this game at a friends suggestion, installed it, all that jazz, it asks me to register, and I attempt to register, it says the username I was using is already being used and that I need to retype the password and make it case sensitive (which you can't because it won't allow capital letters), I try a couple other times and it wouldn't go through, so I look up to see if anyone else was having issues and someone said to try internet explorer, and I go to try too but it says that the email I'm using already has an account when clearly it didn't becuase earlier it said it didn't when I first tried registering, and now it says it does, I haven't gotten any emails from PW, and would like to see if anyone else was having similar issues and knows a way to fix this.

You are not the only one that create accounts; if it tells you that the account already exist, it means that someone already has that accountname. Otherwise you already went trough the registration procedure and got the account the first time. the account name and the email are 2 different things.

Try to retrieve the password, if you put your email and it tells you that the email does not exist, it means that you gotta check with their customer service. Also check your spam folder for a mail from PW.

I, too, am having a similar issue. I registered with them and have been waiting for five days for an activation email. My roomate registered, too. He emailed Perfect World's customer service and got his account activated within a day. I have sent an email to them once a day for these 5 days and have not received anything. You're right, how am I supposed to play the game if they're not sending their activation emails & not replying via ther customer service? I have been checking my junk folders and have been watching my inbox like a hawk.

Ditto. I registered and I know the email is new cause I just created it. And when I made the account at PW it did not say it was in use. But so far, no email to activate the account. I've tried several different emails and all with the same problem. PWE/STO lets me make the account but no activation emails. CS is a joke... they sent me a link to create a new account. So I gave that a try... same problem, account gets created but no activation email.
