Is it ok to have Medical Tricorder 1 and 2.. on your science officer? do or..is it a waste?

Something I've noticed, is that there are sub cooldowns on abilities. For instance, when you've gotten full points in something like Torpedo High Yield, it has a 30 second cooldown. IF you bring two, using one puts a 15 second cooldown on the other one.

I generally put Medical Tricorder 1 and 2 on my science officers for ground, and bring multiple science officers. It helps immensely IMO.

Honestly, it's a bit overkill. For a dedicated healer, it's probably better to run a tricorder and either a buff or cleanse spray(especially with certain duty officers active) for your first two abilities.

Personally, I tend to run my science officers as more of a hybrid healer/AE nuke/DoT'ers these days. An engineer or two running Shield Recharge usually gets you a lot more survivability in a prolonged engagements. Science officers cover the bleedthrough.
