Enough people still play?
I played this along time ago and was just thinking about getting into it again. Do enough people still play this for it to be fun?

Lots. this game is more enjoyable then most mmo's I played. And the people do seem to enjoy the game more than having an obsession over gear.

I actually just downloaded the launcher but now cant log in. I keep trying to reset my password from my old account but when I use it I keep getting a "Wrong username or password" message.

I just started playing...only my second MMO...first was A.O.C.. I like it so far...but I'm still having trouble with controls and the like...probably a problem most people have when making the tranition from console to pc. The game seems very promising though.

Yeah, depending on how long ago you made your original account, and how long it's been inactive, there may be several conversions that you need to go through. The most obvious one is if you date back to the pre-Perfect World (aka Atari) days- your old Cryptic account was folded into the PW systems, but only partially. You'll need to go in and make it a full PW account, but due to dwindling numbers of old-timers combined with continued "advancements" to the PW account system, there is no longer an automatic process for it. tl;dr- You'll need to get Support to help you, or just start over (which isn't that big of a deal, oddly enough).

Im an original Life time sub. I stopped playing after i got my ♥♥♥♥ stuck in a Tribble. Now you tell me i gotta do all this monkey wor to play again? Wow. No thank you. I would rather get a hummer from a Ferengi.

If anyone wants a lifetime account i would be willing to trade. Had it since launch.

I would be interested :)

within a couple of days you can get a char. to max level.
Its super easy, especially if you sub and spend a lil cash on zen to get yourself started (buy master keys - sell on exchange = profit big time)

I did it, got 6 chars on 50 within a month, got every lobi ship (well the more interesting ones anyway like the jem'hadar dreadnought and romulan version of timeship, elachi monbosh and a few others)

Cant say i regret it, there is something likable about this game even though it is a bit arcady in terms of gameplay, lots of pew pew.
