Excellent. Are you going to start on your Reputation gear or join a Fleet and help them do starbase projects?

I love it too, it's my fave game by far. I don't always agree with the way PWE/Cryptic designs everything - I think the Crafting is a *&^%ing joke, as is the Foundry review system - and they REALLY need to stop creating content for a month and just fix the bugs. And I HATE how every 'Event' is paired with a grindfest. Not what I expected from something carrying the name Star Trek.

But the content they make gets better and better IMHO, and it's the only real non-Abrams Star Trek thing/media still going, from what I can see. It's great to see Tuvok, Worf, and Sela still rocking on - it's the closest we'll get to new episodes set in the old-school Star Trek Universe, possibly EVER.

And some of those Foundry missions are just brilliant, some are *easily* as good as the official missions.

Some of the purists hate the changes/additions - like the pet dinosaurs. Me, I'm like: That's dumb, but I don't need to own one.

It's really not the game I was expecting when I bought it (You've probably noticed that it's not very RPG, you can't choose to not blast stuff, for instance) but for all its flaws, it's complex enough to keep me coming back.

I only wish we could properly explore space and discover stuff.
Its not as fun being in sector space and go to a smaller system to do a short mission and repeat :s

I agree with this, whilst i enjoy the game it would be nice if there was the abillity to land on planets and conduct surveys etc, less war against the rest of the universe would have been great. But overall the game is good.

Yep, but i doubt they can do anything like this by now. But i would spend much more time playing this game if i could make my own stories and adventures.

Have you done some of the Foundtry missions? People have created some great msision based on Star Trek Episodes. I just recently played one called "This far, no futher" Its a good one based around The Bajoran Prophets and The Borg, the ending was quite good.

I havent watched too much Star Trek, but i checked out the beginning of the first generation on NetFlix, i was at school so i could only take a quick look. I dont know if i can live through such an old series, how is it? I wish the next generation was on NetFlix too. I some of that when i was young, and it was very enjoyable

Live through such as old series? LOL, The Next Generation is considered by many to be one of the best series. (excluding TOS) You need to watch them. Frankly, I don't see how a person can play STO without knowing more about the TV shows.

TNG and all of the series are on Netflix, I watch them all the time. I love each the series in their own special way. I try not to diss on one particular series like some of those elitists, they seem to not like anything except arguing. I have least favorite episodes, but I'll still watch them. Though TOS is my least watched, I think it has to do with that Salt Vampire episode, that one really left a bad mark on me as a child and whenever I see TOS, no matter what the episode, I see that thing's horrible face, sure it might be tame for someone to see it now, but when you're a little kid, that thing is horrible lol....

If you haven't seen them I HIGHLY recommend the two Trekkies documentaries, they are also on Netflix. They are hilariously enjoyable.

I love this game so much, it's been a great home, (better than I expected) after City of Heroes shut down. Though I solo more than I'd like to.

Maybe it's just available for U.S./Canada netflx :( which sucks ♥♥♥ if that's the case.

If you have Amazon Prime (if that's available for you) they have all the Star Trek shows included for Prime Members with instant video that is included with your membership. The 1st two seasons of TNG are in a form of remastered HD as well, with more seasons on the way.
