Well your class IS science. If you mean your ship, you are probably better off with a science vessel.

As far as roles go, Science can do anything from debuffing, crowd control to energy drain and subsystem shutdown. Personally I would recommend specializing in 1 or 2 of those.

I understand. There is one more question Can I use vessels such as cruisers? Which is the best race and romulan, federation, klingon?

Yes, you can use cruisers, however, they are usually not ideal for science players. Their abilites are more engineering centered, rarely support high level science powers. The most scientific cruisers on the Federation side are the Ambassador and Oddyssey classes and Kamarag/K'maj and Bortas'qu for Klingons.

As for best faction, thats all up to your playstyle. Federation has the most science vessels and general ship selection, Klingons have the best duty officer assignments and cloak on their ships and Romulans have battlecloak and singularity powers. Their downside is a -10 points for their subsystems.

Best race? Alien, because when you're bored, you can switch between Cardassian, Vulcan, Klingon, Human, or whatever when you go to the "Tailor".

I'm playing romulan by science. I want a high PvP power and with it science romulan Is it appropriate for you please enlighten me a little more?

Romulan? You might as well go Tactical first, and just base things around a big alpha strike on decloaking.

Hmm okay thanks. I've got one last question. Is there a chance to change class?
Superman Feb 9, 2014 @ 6:34pm
No, you cannot change your career. You choose Science on one character, you cannot change that to Tactical or Engineering.

Got them from Tactical Engineering Science Which do you recommend and why?
They want to learn about what is good about what direction?

Go Tactical. DPS is always useful, so do that first.

Also, Cruisers end up disappointing a lot of people, so just aim for fast Tactical ships.

Hmm okay I'm going tactical but romulan or fed ?

A science captain is really fun to pair with a tac ship. One of my main characters is a Sci'Tac combo and I love playing him. And personally, and I understand it's just my opinion and not reflective of the whole playerbase, I find Tac easier for lower levels, especially ground and Engineers better at high levels. Even when as a solo away team, my Eng cap between mines and turrets doesn't leave too many enemies standing to be much of a bother.

I have them all and I have to say that your class will always work best with a starship from the same class. Not only are you missing on traits, but it makes little to no sense to use for example GW3 speced sci captain on an escort that doesn't even have a commander sci slot. Sure, it may be fun to mess around or in specific situations, but 99% of the time you will find lack of certain abilities frustrating. Unless you respec and put points where tac captins usually put theirs and completely abandon aux, gravitron etc, but then you just have a tac. captain without all the abilities.

If you wish to fly escorts, roll another tactical captain instead of putting your sci captain on a crippled ship. And yes, tactical ships are glass canons most of the time, so they do kill faster, but also die more easily.

Personally, I would go Romulan Tactical, as tactical, can be used with crusiers too, if you want to branch out, although it's not perfect, and you get the scimitar, which me and my freinds have idealised.
