Slow and lagging gameplay NEED HELP!!
In the settings is there a way i could configure the settings to make the game run fast and smooth? Because I'm stuck on this one ground mission and when I try to move it's really slow and I can barley move my character.

I tryed the FAQ where theres a code for the graphic card thing, But I can't find the /element/ userdata/ systemsetting.ini file. where's that?

There was an update today, servers are surely just busy at the moment...

No this was before the update

Ok... what you can try else, is to set the game in safe mode (options in launcher). Then you can try to set graphic settings to lower quality or resolution until it's fast enough.

What graphic card are youre own? Can you post some features of youre gaming-computer?

turning the # of objects slider down will help alot...i'd try that first. Think you need to log out and back in for it to work.

@shann112 Well my graphics card is an intel graphics media accelerator 3150 and i tried to update the graphic card but it's says it's up-to-date. But when i play it gives me a msg saying that tmy video card is outdated. @jconan777 I'll try that.

the video card

Ok... the intel card is not a real gaming card... supports 'just' directX 9, no shader-support. most of actual games will not run with this card, sorry. Can it be, that you play with an Netbook?
Then you will have the next prob, i suppose. Netbooks have just 1 or 2 GB RAM. That could be a problem too.

For STO, this means: You should really try the game with the lowest settings first... if you can play then, you can step by step increase quality settings until youre hardware is overstrained.

But i don't think you will be happy with this hardware. It's not made for gaming...

Here is a similar hardware asked to run sto in a forum:
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=33083&highlight=xbox&page=222

The 'outdated'-message means not youre driver, i think it means youre hardware.

Sorry for the bad news...

There was a big change in the support for some cards....my 4200 is off the main grid now and i needed to download a new driver update. I'd check your manufacturers website and see if they have new updtaes somewhere too.

yeah my card's manufacturers says it's updated

Sorry, but Ragnarok does not need anywhere near the graphic power of star trek online, it is a very simply game from a graphic engine point of view.

I know you will not want to hear this, but as Shann112 pointed out, the problem your having is not with your drivers but your hardware.

It is well below the minimum spec. the minumum spec is an intel HD Graphics where as your running an intel GMA 3150. So while your drivers are up to date, your actual hardware simply will not handle most gaming needs. (it first came out in 2006).

All you can do is try lower resolutions and lower all the settings to see if it helps. However I am not sure it will.

For instance here is a list of benchmarks on how your card peforms running games http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-3150.23264.0.html (scroll down for the game frames per second, or if you look at the list of cards to the right yours is halfway down the class 6 cards, which gives you an indication of how yours compares will all the rest, it is very low down the list).

As an example, doom 3 (which came out in 2004) at its lowest settings and only at 640x480, will only run at 5 frames per second (basically unplayable).

I understand you want help and I am really not trying to be nasty or make you feel bad, but the situation is what it is. There is really not much anyone can do. Your graphics are just not up to it.

If your running a desktop with a gma3150 then you will have to buy another graphic card, even a cheap one will do.

If your running a laptop, at least if you want to play most games, you will simply have to buy a faster one.
