I just wanna say
I look at myself, and my friends, how much they have played this game, and it is top on everyones list, 100's of hours, half a thousand on some,.......a great many thing, can be read from that.....

Indeed, if you are into Star Trek or scifi in general, mmo type games, don't mind the occasionally bug and have the time needed to progress an mmo character or two or ten. By all means, this can ge a long term favourite.

Ps. 1474 hours on record for me and counting.

Lol, i know what you mean by hundreds of hours, i plyed 100 hours (mind u that was a new game and back in the good ol' days i liked it), and i got into it when it gave the free tier 6 cruiser, and upgrade, i havent payed a cent and i havent played thousand of hours to get good things like plasmonic leech and ec capacity upgrade. I play mainly with the stuff of certain star trek races, i loooove the voth and in the episode they were in, plus some things on wiki from the books, they are BADASS. So i got a couple of cheap voth guns, went into antiproton and have the voth space set, not because i want to be the best of the best, but because i like their race and the stuff is actually quite good.

4062 Hrs. Not counting the time before Steam. I'd like to think I have earned the right to call Cryptic and PWE out on their BS.

Elite Dangerous, and its future expansions, look very very encouraging. Once they get the environment shaped up a little more and can go back to polish the plot and content, E:D could become a leading alternative to EvE and STO alike. Here is a game worthy of support for their development vision.

STO is strangely addictive. Was away playing ESO for a year, until Zenimax broke that game. Now I am back and feeling home again.

Yeah, its pretty sad. I had a couple hundred hours in STO when it first launched, and it was kinda appealing, but buggy. Now I come back after 5 years and things have gotten very p2w, even more buggy and broken, and it was still nice to sit in the captain's chair again for a bit. So many changes, and they just royally killed combat.

Yes, but it needs to be continuously repeated. Maaaybe it will seep through them whales' thick skulls.

It's not "throwing away money" if it's a game you enjoy playing, and just want to enhance the game experience and can afford spending it... I've spent $170 on STO this month so far and to me it isn't a waste at all...

he trolls every post with his anti f2p rants. 170$ jeasus man getting a bit crazy with throwing money at this game. i can see it for a ship or pack but dont just throw money at it.

Well P2P Platforms are often better then the F2P ones and are less plagued by Gold Sellers since bots can't be made in such numbers like in F2P MMOs..

It was for the T6 big Ty'Gokor Command Battlecruiser.. Which i used to drive a free Bortas Battle Cruiser which is T5 but can't be upgraded to T5U it seems.. Also bought a ton of Bank/Inventory space, 4 x100 duty officer space which i have 380ish.. Lots of Resouce packs for crafting, and 12 keys to see if there was a diffence from the current Lock box items and what the Ferengi boxes i had in the bank give.. :AlienTarget::Diplomat::AlienTarget:
