Games stuck at loading screen

I downloaded and installed the game but when i go to play it it goes to the (title?) screen then some "loading this stuff or whatever" shows up on the bottom i waited for about 3 minutes but the game didnt load so i closed it with task manager


Pc specs Intel core i7-6500U Intel hd graphics 520 8gb ram windows 10 64 bit

How do i fix this

what does safe mode do? dont wanna turn it on without knowing

Same problem here. I've been playing this game for a couple years now (5+years), it always happens right after updates. Read that certain programs may cause it although I dont have any of the programs in question. Restarting the computer or reinstalling doesnt work either. I usually have to wait a couple weeks or sometimes even months (not exaggerating at all) for the game to work for me again.

This happened to me a lot. I think a few years ago I got tired of the 20 minute loading screen and deleted local content. I want to come back but the potential wasted effort of clicking download again gives my Cheeto clogged arteries a nervous case of deep vein thrombosis the likes of which a Narubian water seeker has never seen
