I wish carriers didnt exist. They are not cannon and have been pushed exclusivly for STO. If you look over all of Star Trek, short of books or cartoons and such, there is no cannon content showing the proliferation of fighters. Every time attack fighter craft appear they are obliterated by a star ship in TOS/TNG/DS9.

besides carrier pets just die in seconds with faw spam. If you want to play a carrier and have your pets live just get scimtar and just use the drone pet.

Other than bastardized adapted Romulan ships, no.

Carriers worth using are the ones that can ♥♥♥♥ out "frigates" (i.e. Birds of Prey, Escorts, Jemmie Attack Ships) instead of fighters. It's one of the few examples in the game of something varugely canon (smaller but still significant ships supporting a big one) being better than the acanonical alternative (a carrier! with pew-pew x-wings!).

In any event, any carrier in play will be pwn-zored by the T6 version soon as one appears.. so theres that to look forward to.

If someone want to flying carrier, chosse kling, not fed.
kling will give u 'free T5 ship token' so, u can choose carrier. beside, fed need zen.
suck is, fed zen carrier atrox is almost same as kling free carrier vo'quve.
most suck is, atrox use only figher withour torpedo. but vo'quve use Birds of Prey class frigate.
most really suck is, atrox and vo'quve is -sci vessel- but vo'quve can choose mirror version -eng vessel-
