I played it for 3 years now and the only problem with the game is that it's hard to launch from steam but here is the solution i copied from someone=>

You can start STO directly without steam. The executable is found under the steam-folder: [Steam]\SteamApps\common\Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online.exe
You can directly double click this exe file or you make a shortcut to your desktop. it works fine, but your play time will not be recognized by steam.

Also every one that say's it's pay to win is totaly brainless there is ton's of content and every thing is availaible for all players only a tiny amounbt is preserved for lifetimers.

BUT YES IT'S LOTS OF GRINDING BUT THAT'S IN EVERY MMO AND FREE TO PLAY GAME.
