I can't even f*cking login!

I have registered an account on the main website, but whenever I try and log into the game I just get "invalid username or password" all I want to do is log in! Why do they make it so bloody hard?

try restarting the sto laucher. Did you just make an account and immediately try login in to STO? give it time to be sent to the servers.

My account is about a year old, just never got around to playing it.

The launcher shows that the server is up.

You are the one making it so hard. First, if you are not sure you are writting the right username and password, dont do it. Because if you keep trying they could block your account.

Check that you not using uppercase or things like that when entering your username/password. Those things matters. There should be a link to recover your password, did you try that????

Add in the joy of "account guard" and the need for a conformation e-mail to your e-mail you registered on and we're off!

But yeah, I'm thinking it is easy to screw up.

I only have one username and I am typing it correctly.
I am logged in on the website and know I am using the right password.
When I then type the exact same information on the launcher it says it is invalid.

I have even tried making a second account to see if there was just something wrong with the first and it is the same thing.

was you logged into the website at the same time? some sites dont allow 2 conections at same time.

I just noticed I am logged in on the arc launcher screen... just the star trek online one that won't let me log in.
If I try and register again it tells me this email address is already in use for Startrek online.

Well "support" or try using Steam.

alt ctrl del -go to task manager view if a client is logged on or gamelauncher is running
if this is so end those processes (may be 3) give it a min to actually close. then relaunch or only steam or only arc both work fine at this moment in time.
loggin with correct username and pasword. if you forgot your username- check ur mail
if u forgot ur pasword indeed try <u>Forgot your password?</u> or contact support of Sto.

I have done all that still the same, contacted support yesterday but not heard back yet.
Username and password are def correct as I can log into the website just fine.

they took about five days to respond to me.
I had stuck in bogus information because I dont put my real info online.
SO, one of the extremely few things I used with a gmail acccount was lost
because I switched to my server email a while ago and locked that account down.

They didnt care that I had screen shots of all the hundreds of dollars I spent across their games.
They wanted my birthdate and name. STO is the only one that wants me to verify my computer (via registered email)

So, yeah, it might take a week for you to get your first email from them.
