Either way it resolved itself last night then had a sound bug halfway through and skipped until it crashed..
Just updated gfx for new bf2 update.
- Make sure all the game's exes are in your PC's Firewall exceptions.
- Make sure your anti-malware program active defenses is not interferring with the STO game files.
- Use the troubleshooting compatibility options in Windows OS.
- Try the lowest graphics quality level, then work your way back up the higher graphics quality choices.
- Uncheck On-Demand patching.
- Select None for the Patching Proxy.
- Use Safe Mode in the STO launcher Options, when you have troubles.
- Use Force Verify in the STO launcher Options to check the files integrity in STO, when you have troubles..
- Force the use of Direct3D X11 in the STO launcher by entering in the Command Line of the launcher Options, type " -d3d11 "
- Don't use the Steam link option Verify Integrity of Game Files ( in the Local Files tab of properties) except to check the launcher when first time you installed the game from Steam.
