inventory mod

I saw that there used to be an inventory mod, but its gone now. Are there any mods anywhere that change how you handle the inventory? I find those little images I have to highlight over so uttery annoying that I dont want to play. Id rather have a text inventory. Highlighting everything is just so annoying. then dropping stuff on the ground and picking it up one by one to find what you want is well... it ruins the fun. I like roguelikes, but the inventory makes me not even want to play anymore.
